My parrotlets are part of the family. They are so tiny and cute and all have their own unique personality. As you can see from the video they share residence with a blue quaker parrot. I also have an African Grey Congo in another part of the house although they do visit. The family was off at a bird show one day to get another bird. As we walked around we started to notice this cute couple of parrotlets both green. Seeing they were not related and such a nice couple we had to get them both. After owning them for about a year and a half we decided to put a nesting box on the cage. It did not take long at all and the hen was sitting in the box. A little bit later she was sitting on eggs. Since it was her first clutch only one egg hatched, a beautiful yellow hen. I thought wow when they are babies their feathers are yellow, but of course they never changed green because it was a yellow parrotlet baby. After a little time passed they were at it again hanging out in the nest box bringing us two green females and a green male plus a blue female. As for the last clutch I let them have two yellow females a yellow male a green female and a dilute blue male. Wow what a beautiful bird with its sky blue color.

This beautiful parrot has an extremely large vocabulary and a bright red tail.
